 With his brightly colored costume and repertoire of over 400 different balloon sculptures, "Joyful" has captured the hearts of people at such places as Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom, The Great American Circus, Jubilee Jam, The Mississippi State Fair and The Jackson Zoo, as well as being a regular at both Northpark Mall and Metrocenter for special promotions. He can also be found as a guest on WJTV's "Our Playmates" and appearing with Fox 40's "Mr. Bee". He also teaches annually at The Southern Baptist Sunday School Board's Annual Performing Arts Festival, and makes regular appearances at First Baptist Church of Jackson and many other churches in the area for Vacation Bible School, summer camp and other special events. Membership in Joyful's Funny Bone Fanclub numbers in the hundreds and includes children from Madison to McGee, Mississippi. Anywhere kids can be found, so can Joyful; whether it be a Church Program, Company Picnic, Grand Opening or just a special Birthday Party.
 
 

"Joyful" has had twelve years experience as a clown as well as fourteen years experience working with children and teens as a Youth Minister. He is past President of The Mid-Mississippi Clown Alley, a member of the World Clown Association, Clowns of America International, The Fellowship of Christian Magicians and the local chapter of the International Brotherhood of Magicians. At the World Clown Association's 12th annual convention "Joyful" was awarded a gold medal in the balloon competition, which was open to clowns from over 26 countries. He is a graduate of Clown Camp, the largest training program for professional clowns in the United States, where he has, in recent years, been chosen to teach an advanced class in balloon sculpture. Clown Camp is held each year at the University of Wisconsin and is attended by clowns from all over the world.
